Holy Child Academy looks ahead with confidence, as it acknowledges the role of trustees, administrators, teachers, parents, grandparents, alumni/ae, and community members in charting a bold course for a promising future.  The Strategic Planning Committee of the Board of trustees is pleased to present the results of their collaborative efforts, the 2015 Strategic Plan.

To meet the challenges ahead, Holy Child Academy will:

  1. Animate the mission and philosophy statements to reflect the vitality and energy that inspire Holy Child education in Drexel Hill and around the globe; 
  2. Consistently celebrate the Seven Goals of Holy Child Education so that all constituents can recognize the timeless impact of Cornelia Connelly’s legacy;
  3. Foster an environment that will nourish and enrich the spiritual and liturgical lives of the Holy Child Academy community; and  
  4. Strengthen and expand the religion curriculum.

Marketing  

A highly visible profile and unambiguous identity will help Holy Child Academy distinguish itself in the marketplace. 

To meet the challenges ahead, Holy Child Academy will:

  1. Revitalize its brand; and
  2. Create unique plans for external, internal, and digital marketing.

Teaching that exhilarates, a curriculum that stimulates, and technology that enlivens will help Holy Child Academy foster an innovative, collaborative, and child-centered community focused on today’s needs and tomorrow’s expectations.

  1. Cultivate and support an environment and culture for 21st Century teaching and learning to flourish.

Sustainability  

A robust financial profile and enhanced facilities will help Holy Child Academy thrive.

  2. Promote and expand the Early Childhood Montessori Program;
