 |  | HCA Students Earn Five Medals at Spanish Oral Expo
Holy Child Academy (HCA) shined at the Fifth Annual Spanish Oral Expo, sponsored by Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter 051 of the American Association of the Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, at HaverfordTownshipHigh School. The competition offers an opportunity for high school and middle school students from the area to compete against each other in a collaborative manner, rather than school versus school. This year, HCA was the only school in the competition with students from middle school grades. Their competion was against high school students.

Join Us for "Concert for Sandy" - Wednesday, April 24
Come and support Concert for Sandy on Wednesday, April 24, at St. Dorothy Roman Catholic Church. While the musical benefit is free of charge, donations will be accepted at the door for victims of Super Storm Sandy. Also, attendees will be invited to write spiritual messages and/or prayers for families impacted by Sandyhook Elementary School shootings. These messages will then be used to create a spiritual bouquet for Sandyhook families.

 | 2013 DELCO Science Fair Winners
Holy Child Academy was well represented at the Delaware County Science Fair on Monday, March 11. A total of twenty-one HCA students participated in this county-wide event where hundreds of students from the area competed.

 | Auction and 85th Anniversary Celebration!
Congratulations to HCA Parents’ Association for its successful Auction and 85th Anniversary Celebration at Springfield Country Club on February 23. With over 140 items on live and silent auction blocks, over $35,000 was raised for the school. We thank our many generous donors, sponsors, and bidders, too.
