The Arts

Music and art classes are fully integrated into the curriculum at Holy Child Academy beginning in early childhood and continuing through Eighth Grade.

The art studio at HCA offers a wonderful space for children to unleash their creativity. From pen and ink sketches to pottery, students learn both technique and art history. Art projects often integrate academic themes from other classes and provide the children with an additional outlet for expression.

HCA offers quality music education using Orff and Kodály methods of instruction. Students are exposed to the music of many cultures and periods.

Students learn how to read, write, and create their own music, in addition to becoming proficient in various rhythms, pre-band, and folk instruments. Middle school students are taught how to play handbells as part of the music curriculum and perform on and off-campus with the handbell choir.
