Planned Giving

Leave Your Legacy: A planned gift to Holy Child Academy can bring financial benefits to both the school and to the donor. Benefits may include increased income, a decrease in one’s future tax burden, and the assurance of future support to HCA.

Charitable Bequests

Endowed Bequests:

Endowed bequests enable a donor to restrict the principal of a gift, requiring HCA to hold the funds permanently and to use only the investment income generated. Creating an endowment in this manner means that a gift can continue giving indefinitely.

Honorary or Memorial Bequests:

Honorary or memorial bequests are gifts given “in honor” or “in memory" of someone. HCA is pleased to honor a request and has many ways to grant appropriate recognition.

Restricted Bequests:

Restricted bequests give the donor an opportunity to designate how the money will be used. In order to make a restricted bequest, contact the Development Office to ensure that the bequest may be fulfilled.

Unrestricted Bequests:

Unrestricted bequests are gifts for general. A gift of this nature, without restrictions, is the most useful, as it allows HCA to employ the funds where they are the most needed.

Matching Gifts

The impact of a contribution can be doubled or even tripled with a matching gift from employers. All gifts to HCA, whether to the HCA Fund or Voluntary Fund, are eligible for corporate matching programs. Check with your company's Human Resources department to see if it offers a matching gift program.

Please do not forget to send the matching form or information to: HCA Development Office, 475 Shadeland Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
