Innovation Lab at HCA
The Innovation Lab is the only fully equipped, state-of-the-art, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) lab of its kind for elementary school students in Delaware County.
Installed by Creative Learning Systems in summer 2017, the lab is designed to build STEAM competencies and confidence for students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Not only will students increase their knowledge and skills about STEAM, they will discover new ways to experience these disciplines, foster their creativity through exploration and critical thinking, cultivate their leadership skills, and prepare for high school and beyond.
“The Innovation Lab creates a dynamic learning experience,” said Margaret Fox-Tully, head of school at Holy Child Academy. “Not only are we teaching and reinforcing the 21st-century skills needed for success in the job market of the future, we are preparing students to think creatively and work collaboratively.”
