Junior CIT Porgram

We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering a Junior Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program this year at Summer Camp! This program will be for rising 7th and 8th grade students who have aged out of camp and are not yet old enough to take on a CIT or counselor role. This program will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with an option for half or full days. The cost for three half days (8:30-12:30) will be $200 per week and the cost of three full days (8:30-4:30) will be $260 per week.

The program is designed to help students build confidence, independence, and leadership and teamwork skills while still enjoying camp. Junior CITs will:

  • Learn responsibility through hands-on experience
  • Plan and help run activities for younger campers
  • Participate in supervised outings to grow independence (additional fees may apply)
  • Spend Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the pool assisting counselors and leading games

Junior CITs will leave with stronger confidence, leadership experience, and preparation for future counselor roles.
