Last week, First Grade received a visit from Seventh Grade, our buddy class.  The students were all very excited to meet, but especially the first graders!  The seventh graders helped out in a couple ways.  First, the seventh graders worked on shoe tying with the first graders.  Even for the students who have mastered the skill, it was still a good opportunity for practice.  Next, the students worked together on creating Valentine Day door hangers for our friends at Little Flower Manor.  It was such an enjoyable visit and all of the students were sad when our time together ended.  We can't wait to do it again!

*The HCA Parents Association is organizing a Family Fun Night on Saturday, February 11th from 5-8 p.m.  It is free to all HCA families.  There will be games in the MPR for the littles, sports contests in the gym for both students and parents, and a potluck dinner in the cafeteria.  Click here to sign up!

*There is no school on Friday, February 17th and Monday, February 20th due to a faculty inservice and Presidents' Day.

*Black History Projects due Friday, February 24th.
