Last week, Mrs. Goyer and Mr. Purnell facilitated Community Time about the work of Catholic Relief Services.  The students were given a scenario similar to a "Choose Your Own Adventure" where they had to determine how and if they would help a neighbor in need.  The students had to work with the members of their group to decide which route they felt would be best.  At the end of their journey, the results of each decision was explained to the students.  It was explained how these same scenarios are things that happen around the world every day and this is some of the work and relief that Catholic Relief Services provides.  At the end of our time together, the groups worked together to create a prayer flag, which will be displayed in the school.

Reminders!!

*Tickets are now on sale for "The Wizard of Oz" on March 17th-18th.  Please come and support our amazing cast and crew as we travel to Oz!  Tickets will be on sale online through Monday, March 13th.  After that, tickets will be available at the door.

*The First Grade prayer service will be held Tuesday, March 14th at 8:15 am.  Families are invited to attend.

*Please continue to have your child practice his/her reading for the prayer service over the weekend.  Students will need to be in full uniform for the prayer service.  Students should bring sneakers for P.E. to school to change into before class.

*Next week, P.E. will be Tuesday (Students must wear their full uniforms) and Thursday (Day 5).

*Please make sure to return your child's permission slip and payment for the Lower School field trip to Adventure Aquarium by March 15th.

*On Friday, March 17th, HCA will be having a dress down day to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  Students should wear white, green, and gold!

*Lower School will attend a division Mass with Fr. Rich on Monday, March 20th at 10 am.  Parents are invited to attend.

*Parent/Teacher conferences will be held in person on Wednesday evening, March 29th and Thursday morning, March 30th.  There is no school for students on March 30th.  Please sign up for a time that works best for you.

*Spring/Easter break runs from March 31st through April 10th.  Classes resume on Tuesday, April 11th.
