Founder's Day Fun!

We had a great end to our week last week!  Last Thursday was Founder's Day at HCA.  The day started off with a service themed prayer service, where each class' service partner was announced.  After the service, the Middle School led activities for the other students throughout the morning.  The children had such a fun time!  They came back to the classroom with big smiles on their faces, discussing all of the activities they took part in.

We were also lucky enough to get to participate in an outside activity with some residents at Little Flower Manor on Saturday.  It was such a special time that we got to share with each other.  The students really made an impact on the residents they met.  Each resident told me how thankful they were that we visited and how amazing they thought the students were.  It made me feel so proud!  We can't wait to continue our connection with them during the year.
