The Third Week of May
This week, First Grade learned about snow. The students discovered how snow crystals are formed, what shapes they can take, and if any two snow crystals can be alike. The class then got to create their own snowflakes using q-tips. We were hoping that with all of the snowflakes we were making, it would help to make it not so hot outside!

There is no school on Friday, May 24th and Monday, May 27th, due to the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Next week, First Grade is having a free dress day on Tuesday, May 28th.

There is no P.E. next week for First Grade.

Bowling field trip is Monday, June 3rd. Students should wear their gym uniforms and sneakers for the trip.

The last day of school will be on Wednesday, June 5. There will be a noon dismissal for all students with no lunch and no HCA Plus.
