Junior Fire Marshall/ Picture Day

 Hello Everyone!

This Tuesday, we had  the opportunity to watch a Fire Prevention video with our friends from Mrs. Dietzler's class. We had a great discussion on how to stay safe.  We talked about not to use matches or a lighter, to be aware of hot items in the home like the stove, or fireplace. We also discussed doing fire drills just like we do at school, so we can always remain safe.

On Friday, we read books about fire safety and each student received a fire helmet to take home. Great Job Junior Fire Marshalls!!

The students have been working hard with our Montessori  materials in the classroom.  We have been practicing how to use them properly and replacing them back to the shelves.

The students have been doing name recognition and now number recognition with the pointer.  We are also counting backwards too. The students are beginning to recognize their classmate's names and when they are absent.  It is great to see that the students are noticing each other and building friendships!

This week the students had STEAM class with Mrs. Zwilling.   Some of the students were a bit reluctant to head over to class, but as you will see by the pictures below, they had a fun time learning new ways of using blocks.

We had a great couple of days to enjoy the nice weather. See the cute pictures of your adorable children!

Wishing All Our Families a Very Happy and Safe Weekend!

Warmly, Elena and Veronica
