This week we spent time preparing our hearts to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. Students created light bulbs and wrote about how they can be a "light" in the world. The children are looking forward to receiving First Reconciliation next Thursday night. We also look forward to a class-wide second grade Reconciliation prayer service on February 27th!

To add to the excitement of the week, we took a field trip to Lankenau Hospital where the children got to attend a program on healthy eating. The kids learned a lot and had a great time! 

Reminders:

• The HCA Parents Association is organizing a Family Fun Night on Saturday, February 11, 5-8 p.m. It is free to all HCA families. There will be games in the MPR for the littles, sports contests in the gym for both students and parents, and a potluck dinner in the cafeteria. Click here to sign up!

• Looking ahead: there is no school on Friday, February 17, and Monday, February 20, due to a faculty inservice and Presidents’ Day.
