The Lower School is having a blast learning about the ocean in our cross-curricular thematic unit. This week the children spent time drafting and perfecting a writing piece about what they would see if they were scuba diving in the ocean! I was very impressed with their writing and their creativity. The kids had fun making scuba divers to hold their writing. The children also wrote their first Haiku poem all about the ocean, I am so proud of their hard work! 

Reminders: 

• Tickets are now on sale for The Wizard of Oz on March 17-18. Please come and support our amazing cast and crew as we travel to Oz! Tickets will be on sale online through Monday, March 13. After that, tickets will be available at the door.

• Parent/teacher conferences will be on Wednesday evening, March 29, and Thursday morning, March 30 (no school for students on 3/30). Please sign up for a time that works best for you.

• Spring/Easter break runs from March 31 through April 10. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 11. 

• Green dress down day on March 17th for St. Patrick's Day!!
