Since we've been back in school, Grades 1 and 2 have been working hard on mastering vocabulary for various concepts -- winter animals and clothing, weather, and most recently, parts of the body.

First grade learned about the parts of the face and then created their own original Sr. Papa (Mr. Potatohead). They had so much fun coming up with their own, unique expressions using the different parts of the face! 

Second grade also reviewed the parts of the face and later learned the main parts of the body. They enjoyed playing matching and memory games and finished out the unit with a few rounds of BINGO.
