We continue to read Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. We are learning how Charlotte cares so much for her friend Wilber. The boys and girls wrote sentences about their friends in class. We talked about what makes a good friend and our favorite thing about that friend.
We are having so much fun having mystery readers! It's such a fun way to start our day!
We have been learning about seeds and what is needed for a seed to grow. We learned that seeds come in different shapes and sizes. It was fun to use our Smart Screen to play an activity about seeds.
We continue to work on our writing skills during Writing Workshop! We wrote our own fiction stories. The students learned that fiction means not real.
