Meet the characters in Charlotte's Web! The students used our classroom chart and wrote a phonetic sentence about one of the characters from the story. We are really enjoying the adventure Wilbur and his farm animals are having!
Many of the students are adding into the hundreds using our Montessori Bank Game. And all can add with two digit numbers! I'm very proud of their hard work!
We enjoyed having the last two mystery readers! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to come and read to our class! It was such a special treat for the class!

Hoopin’ for Hope Basketball Charity Event: Save the date for Saturday, May 6th from 6-8 PM at HCA for a night of basketball fun for the whole family! The purpose of the event is to raise money for Bringing Hope Home, a local organization that provides financial assistance to families impacted by cancer. There will be basketball skills activities and a tournament for Middle School students and adults. Concessions will be sold, along with raffle tickets for a chance to win 76ers-themed prizes. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Entry fee is $5 per person or $15 per family. Please register here.

May Crowning and Celebration of Mothers: Save the date for Friday, May 12th at 8:15 AM.

In preparation for Mother's Day, each student will be able to invite one guest (his/her mother or special friend) to a special Celebration of Mothers Prayer Service. During this prayer service, we will participate in the Catholic tradition of crowning Mary, the mother of Jesus and the Queen of Heaven and Earth, with flowers and ask her to pray for us as we strive to follow her Son, Jesus. We will also offer special prayers and blessings to all mothers and mother figures in our lives. Please RSVP here. More details coming soon!

Parents, save the date for Tuesday, May 23, for our annual Early Childhood Celebration! The students will be presenting beginning at 8:30 am in the MPR. After that, we are inviting parents to bring a picnic snack for their family to enjoy on the lawn and join in some activities. Please RSVP here by by Thursday, May 18.
