Halloween is right around the corner!  This week the students created a fantastic list of Halloween words and we wrote them on our chart!  Each student selected a word from the chart and created a phonetic sentence using the Movable Alphabet.  

This week during Writer's Workshop, the students chose a topic from their Halloween topic paper.  We are working on sharing the topic and what happens in the beginning, middle and end of the story.  Some of the students were able to share from the "Author's Chair!"

During science class, the students worked with magnetic wands.  We learned what metals are magnetic and tested various objects in the classroom to see if they were magnetic.  

This week, Miss Mann's gym was full of fun and fantastic Halloween activities!  We had a blast with each Halloween activity!
