Patricia Brown is currently beginning her 6th year as Director of the Music Program at Holy Child Academy. Patty is a graduate of the  Philadephia College of Performing Arts where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. She is an accomplished violinist, pianist, organist, arranger, conductor, composer and vocal director. She has an extensive career performing with numerous orchestras including the Philly Pops, Ocean City Pops, several New Jersey symphonies as well as with numerous theatrical productions including at The Kimmel Center, The Academy of Music,  the Forrest Walnut Street, Arden, Shubert, Prince Theater, and Hershey Theaters. 

Prior to teaching at HCA, Patty taught at Merion Mercy Academy, Gywnedd Mercy Academy and Waldron Academy. Patty was  organist, pianist and Choir Director at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Wynnefield for 22 years. In addition she has traveled 46 out of 50 states as concertmaster for the National Touring Company of Disney’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Patty free-lances as a violinist for weddings and funerals. She is also Director of Abellimento Strings, a string trio that provides music for weddings, receptions and special events.
